Ruins

These ruins were made from a cheap "Battleships" wooden game I found in the Works publishers.

I got the game for £5 and thought it would be a useful little after the Pub game for me and my mates. Never used it. Then the lid broke off. I looked at the trays and thought, "Why not make something out of them.

Here you go. Other bits from the wooden puzzle scrap box, necklace beads and tooth picks were used.

I used adhesive address labels to give the effect of relief on the floor when painted and dry brushed.

The lower section of the game had 2 smaller trays. So became 2 smaller ruins.

Give them a bit of PVA glue then scatter them. I just trickle the PVA in long thin streams and spread if need be with an old brush.
