Making more new stuff from Adventure 2000 and Scenery Start.

Started more messing about with my collection of Matchbox Adventure 2000 Vehicles.
Another Kill-Dozer with added bits. VHS tape innards. Spares box bits and elastic bands where the tracks should be.

Not many of these vehicles come with the original tracks. Thick elastic bands I purchased from ebay stand in for them. Painted black later then lines of gun metal cover this a bit. Not perfectly but it will do for me.

More work as I think of it will be done to these.

Again I had to saw through the back of the canopy on this model. They always seem to have the drivers canopy distorted as if someone has stepped on them. Thus the rough card at the moment.
More painting to be done as yet. Just blocked in the main areas. Then decided to stick more bits to the sides.
Tractor Unit with added Gubbins. Missile launcher was a gonna. So another Low Pressure Gun was added. A co-axial recoilless rifle from Tamiya 1/35th weapon set added as well.

These guys are those Screwdriver sets again. I decided to try a different look to the top and bottoms. Top here has some Poundland "You sank my Battleship markers" stuck around it.
Bottom is here not inverted as I have done before. More Battleship markers filled the holes where the driver bits were stored. Capacitors and other plastic bits glued to its' middle for that complicated look.

Updates as they happen. Or I finish them. Still have to stick these to bases though.

Space Marines from Conquest Magazine. Cos they were cheap!

I don't usually do much with GW figures. But at £1.99 for three figures, three paints and a brush.

I got these.

It has been about 30 years since I painted a space marine.

Other paints from my own collection.

Again I may tweak the paintjob. Lining and such as and when I can be bothered.

Set Dressing. Matchbox Hot Wheel Trailers. Bulk Head Doors.

I got these "Speed Trap" Matchbox trailers from Poundland.
Repaint the mainly white and silver trailer in a more grubby looking military green.
Used Tamiya Smoke X-19 to wash over the chrome silver. Gives a nice oily look.

Left before. Right After. Also applied an old Decal Number to the painted one.
The Backs. I just painted over the stickers. They were a bit to well attached. Didn't really want to scratch them off.
Bulkhead door. A piece of Triang/Hornby bridge support left over from my tables. This one was to tall to make a believable table on its' side. But attach a drinks carton plastic close cap. A small plastic police light from a knackered cheap car and a bit of spring motor on the upper left. We have a Solid Door!

Still got a few more of these to randomly decorate. Never have to many doors!

My Diecast Chieftain Tank.

I found two of these old Dinky toys tanks at shows. I remember them as a child. But never realised they were almost the perfect scale for 28mm figures.

They were missing their tracks and other pieces from the barrel of the gun.

I have started painting and detailing them, but they both need more work.

The gun sleeve was taken from one of those cheap ergonomic grip pens. Just used a sharp knife and cut it down the seam. Then slip onto the barrel.

More detail and painting is needed. But usable. I don't really want to cover the turret mantlet section. As on these vehicles the gun rises and depresses via the command cupola being rotated. Anything I put over the hole may interfere with that. Still I may find a solution yet.

New Gasland Car in the making.

Started having another bash at another Gasland car.

Not played the game yet. But decided to make a flamethrower turreted car.

Don't even know if they are allowed.

Another car donated by my brother from his son's no longer wanted toy box.
A spring cut down, makes the fuel supply.
A gun type projector possibly from a fire engine for the barrel.
Two different sized capacitors from a circuit board for fuel tanks.

Needs the paint obviously. But I may add window armour from cardboard yet.

In the Lab!!

I have been making a lot of my own office and lab furniture. The Work Tables and Book Shelves are made from Hornby Railway bridge supports.

I turned the on their sides and a Work Table or Bookshelf for my Miniatures.
Copplestone and Ainsty bits scattered around.
Ainsty do a nice little set of PC monitors. I put one on each table.
Part of a disposable camera made one of my work tables. The guy in the grey overalls is working there.
Various circuit board components and make the books/file boxes and little capacitors the tubs.

Even parts of old VHS cassettes have been used. This is the Camera worktable.
I always save useful looking shaped components. Just in case they come in useful. Thus the Centrifuge on this table.

Refinery Fight. Cross Genre.

I have posed some of my Myriad of figures and bits and bobs.

I hope you like the lunacy.

Warmachine Bombardiers (Atlantean Army in my World) face off against Heroclix "Modified" Sgt. Rock and his mates. Stuart tank is Heroclix Military tank with several washes yo tone down the Green.
Lots of spare parts and repurposed toys and electrical parts have been incorporated.
Capacitors make great pressure vessels and or containers.
I used left over Bolt-action arms and Wargames Factory spares to modify my Heroclix.
Credit card machine receipt rolls are great for pipework as are sprues from plastic kits.
Even the refill of a pen can make a contribution. Left side of the piccy a bit hard to make out.
I like to mess about. You can never tell what it may turn into.
