Add ons WIP to My Secret Base!

These are some finished and WIPs for added details to "My Secret Base"

This is my concrete Sci-Fi, Pulp, Modern type industrial zone.

I try to make them look like "Any-When"

A mix of electronic components, household interestingly shaped objects and all as cheaply purchased or given to me as possible!

It is amazing how many of my friends and family just hand me stuff like old circuit boards and packaging when they see what I do with them.

Here we go!

These two items are the top and bottom of a Mini-screwdriver set I found in Poundland. Loved the shapes so got myself some more. Added Capacitors and bits of old Sprue from plastic kits for pipework.
PDQ till rolls. With Renedra bases and old sprues from plastic kits.

Bottom of Screwdriver set inverted painted and all sorts from the spares box added.

An old small electric motor with another electric component from a dial added to it's side. Don't really know what it is supposed to be! But looks like an industrial something?

Multiple bits. Toyfair. Far. New 54mm 1/32nd Skeleton.

Here are my Works in Progress.

The Artillery Piece I found at the Toyfair for £2. Now Painted.
My Far train Halftrack with paint added.
And One of the 54mm 1/32nd scale Skeletons with a 28mm fig for scale comparisons.

This is a Diecast SPG from Dinky Toys. Goes great with 28mm figs but very rare with tracks! So I put elastic bands around the wheels and paint them black.
My Far vehicle with some speculative painting. I am still messing about with this.

One of 6 sculpts of 54mm skelebobs I got in a big bag for £2. There were actually 48 figs in the bag. But only 6 Different Sculpts. 5 were very good last one I am not so sure about. But at 5p each or thereabouts? Who cares.

My Camera ran out of power. So more pics later.

Saw a lovely game called far!

I watched a lovely letsplay on YouTube. Called Far. Kinda Steampunkish and involved Sails and Steam.

Made me want to build this.
Now I know the game has bigger wheels. But I had this Diesel Train lying about.
Got to still strengthen it more and add detail.

Currently I am happy with the build.

More stuff to make

I found this set of Multi-Head Screwdriver bits in Poundland.
Does have some useful heads I haven't already got. A most elusive triangle headed bit for taking the Diecasts I buy off their bases. Plus some Torque bits as well.

What struck me though was the Useful shape of the Perspex cover.

The Cover placed on a base and spares from the parts box stuck around it. Undercoated the cover in Black for later painting.
The bottom of it can also be turned upside down and makes a kind of Generator or Turbine looking thing.
I may have to get some more for a bit more experimentation. All the spare screwdriver heads are in a plastic ziplock.

Malifaux Figures. Plus GW Wolves of Titanic Proportions!

I have a few Malifaux miniatures. Mainly the Human cowboy looking ones. Though I do have some of the Witchlings as well.

Plus the wolves!

A size Comparison with Malifaux figure.

Very nice wolves. Just a tad large!

Kinder expansions for my secret base.

Here are those kinder type containers with paint liberally applied and further bits from the spares box added.

The Group Photo. Including the gravy lid and two of those bottle tops that I think are a squirty waste of time! But they do make nice generators or capstone thingies. Just remove the see through bits prime and paint the remainder. Then replace see through bit.

This one has part of an old camera I was given sitting on top of it. I believe it is the lens of the camera. Makes quite a good techie bit on top of this chemical still.
Kinder thingy on it's side. With added ball headed pins on either side of an electrical component on top.
Similar to the one above. But this time I added some tank road wheels which I have an abundance of as I found them on loads of sprues at a swap meet. 20p A sprue. Again capacitors and ball headed pins for extra detail.
These guys can be added all over the place on my secret base. Refuelling stations or processing and storage. Simple but effective.
